WHO: Are the Nolls?

They are missionaries with GAiN (Global Aid Network) which is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Aron studied Sociology and Communications in college, and structured his classes after USC's Documentary Film degree. He also has a Masters Degree in Intercultural Studies from Western Seminary.

Yvonne studied Religion with an emphasis in Missions in college and was an administrative assistant for OHSU, one of the countries largest hospital and educational health systems, and is an incredible wife, mom, production manager and cook! They were married on June 19, 1999 and have a son and daughter and one on the way.

WHAT: Do they do?

They produce documentary films that are used to raise funds to provide medecine, build houses, thanks donors, feed people and do evangelism projects, etc. They also participate in the projects too! Their work involves research, directing, shooting, producing and editing the documentaries. You can see the videos here on our website: www.TheNolls.net

WHEN and WHERE: Do they do what they do?

Whenever and wherever there is a situations like, war, extreme poverty or natural disasters GAiN pulls together teams of people to deliver food, build houses and share their faith. The Noll's go and participate with the project and investigate the findings and tell the story on video.

WHY: Do they do what they do?

Both Aron and Yvonne reached a point in their lives where they realized that God loved them and had a great plan for their lives (John 3:16 and 10:10). They realized that their selfish and angry attitude towards God in their lives was stopping them from that plan (Romans 3:23 and 6:23). When they realized that Jesus offered them hope (Romans 5:8) they responded (Ephesians 2:8-9) and their anger towards God melted. Their response is to stop living for their own selfish desires, which will eventually come to an end when they die, and serve God with their skills and help the people on earth that need it the most. We have included the references to the Bible so you can follow our experience from God's perspective and have this same life with God too!

HOW: Do they do what they do?

The Noll's work exists because friends, family and churches give $4 to $350 a month to help the Noll's with their expenses. Campus Crusade has no central funds to pay salaries so the Noll's depend upon people to assist in the ministry work. Campus Crusade pays for the trips that the Noll's go on and for their production expenses too. Financing work like this is directed by God in the Bible in examples like the Levites who lived from the offerings that the Jews brought to the Temple and the Apostle Paul who directed the churches to give money to help people and share the message of hope in Jesus. Business ventures function this way too. In Aron's line of work people raise funds to produce films that entertain the masses. Why not invest in films that make a difference in people's lives here on earth today and show them the message of eternal hope in Jesus.
